Kickin' Sickness with Tony LaRocco

Donation protected
Tony LaRocco is a friend to many people and is the type of man who always comes through for his family and friends . When Tony was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) in 2006 the outpouring of prayers and support from his friends was overwhelming. He is a cancer survivor thanks to that support. Tony always said he took the illness, the 100s of chemo treatments, months of hospitalization as a challenge.

We were all witness to his determination, unbelievable strength of character and fight to survive. A stem cell transplant that doctors called a "Hail Mary" play gave Tony back to his family and friends. Once released from the hospital, he continued to visit and inspire other patients going through what he had. His illness he said let him know what's important in life - his friends and his family Suzy, daughters Alex and Sofia, and son TJ.

Tony is an entrepreneur, restaurant consultant and businessman. Born in the Bronx, NY he spent his childhood in Yorktown Height located in Westchester county. He was a wrestler and lacrosse season at John F Kennedy Catholic High School where his teacher encouraged him to study history at college. A graduate of University of South Florida, Tony was extremely active in campus life. He opened his first restaurant on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. His concept was of family style Italian cuisine met with great success in New York City and he introduced it to Atlanta with the opening of Fratellis in Buckhead and later in Destin, FL. Once well enough after his first hospitalization he opened Viva, italian for "life" ...

A serious bout of Pneumonia brought Tony back to Emory Hospital this week. An amazing team of doctors and nurses are helping him meet this latest challenge. He is again beating the odds, pushing himself to survive. But it will be a long haul, many months of hospitalization and treatment.

So many friends and family members are asking how they can help. Please help by donating to help ease the financial burden that is accumulating while Tony is in the hospital.

Let's help this family that we have come to know and love like our own. With your help, we are helping a family that is always there for us! On behalf of the LaRocco Family we would like to thank you for your prayers, love and support.

With a very heavy heart I share the unfortunate news of Tony's passing Sunday September 20,2015.  He was with his beautiful wife, Suzy and surrounded by his family and very close friends.  With your support of this fund we have made an impact! From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and everyone for your donations and ask that in the coming weeks that you pray for Tony's children, Alex, Fia and TJ and his wife, Suzy that they may find peace and comfort and know how much their father and husband was loved.........  A "Celebration Of Life" will take place October 3rd in Atlanta at F & B Atl and mass and arragements have been made in New York October 17, 2015. If you scroll down the updates you wills ee all the info for each gathering.

May all the prayers, love, and  support ease Tony's family in the coming days, weeks, and months.
God bless this beautiful family......
