Jim & John's Marriage Equality Fund

Hi,

We're James "Jim" Strawser and John Humphrey. We were married in the Mobile Japanese Garden in Mobile, Alabama in August. Because the State of Alabama has a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, our marriage is not recognized by the state. That means that we do not have the same rights as other married couples do.

 So we're fighting in federal court for our marriage to be recognized. And we're asking you to help us cover the expenses of hiring an attorney to represent us. Any help would be much appreciated.
