Jasmine Daniels - Ride Again

Donation protected
Jasmine Daniels is an assistant horse trainer at The Fairgrounds in New Orleans.  On the morning of December 23, 2014, Jasmine was injured when the horse she was riding stumbled and fell, rolling on top of her.  Jasmine underwent surgery on Christmas Eve at Tulane Medical Center to repair fractured vertebra and assess damage to her spinal cord.  During the surgery it was ascertained that her spinal cord was not severed, as originally thought.  However, the spinal cord was heavily traumatized and needs time to heal.  At this time, there is paralysis from the waist down; however, each day of healing brings encouraging news.  Jasmine will need extensive, costly rehab.  On December 30, Jasmine will be moved to Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital to begin her lengthy rehabilitation.  Jasmine is a fighter and if anyone can recover from this she can.  We appreciate anything you are able to contribute and if you are unable to contribute at this time, we ask that you keep Jasmine in your prayers through this trying time.
