Thank you for sending Noah to China!
My name is Nicole and I am very happy to be the single mother of Noah. Noah is a phenomenal kid (I know..I'm biased). He makes great grades he is very respectful and he is tremendously dedicated to his schools theatre department. Noah spends hours upon hours at school trying to make sure that each and every production is perfect.
Noah has accumulated over 40 volunteer hours this year just helping anyone who asked. He arrives at school at 7:15am every morning and sometimes doesnt get home until 8:00pm. He takes a mixture of Honors and AP courses at Hillside New Tech and maintains A's and B's. In the midst of this, he acts, dances and is an assistant director. He has been in DreamGirls, In The Heights, A Raisin in the Sun and many more productions at school.
Now, he along with others have an AMAZING opportunity to perform in Beijing China and I REALLY want to make sure he gets to go. For Noah, being exposed to this type of international travel and new culture at the age of 16 can be a life altering experience for him as an African American male.
Noah has been a really good kid through all of the things we have been through. There have been times where he didn't have the material things his peers had, and you know what...he has never complained. Never grumbled and never wanted me to feel bad about the things he couldnt have. For this reason, and so many more, I do not want to say no to his dream of performing in China. Its an expensive trip, but he has worked really hard and I think he deserves to go.
Can you please help me send Noah to China?
