Jenn shared her personal account of what poverty is like for her and her family here: 

Jenn's Words: "Living in poverty is like being punched in the face over and over and over on a daily basis. "

Due to the overwhelming response of people wanting to help, I started this fundraising page. Jenn's intention was never to ask for donations ...the purpose was to get the words out there so people going through the same don't feel so alone and to get unaware people to understand what poverty is like in the U.S. 

The support & thoughtfulness of the Internet community has been incredible and is much appreciated.
