While everyone seemed to be posting joyful photos of their Christmas, a heartbroken mother's from Houston Texas posted the following:

"I keep thinking its a nightmare that I will wake up from... But tonight we lost our little boy. Carson passed away after Joel found him lifeless and not breathing in his crib. My sister @carriecolton87 bravely did CPR until help arrived, but it was too late. He died from SIDS tonight. I will miss his smile and his cute baby laugh. Love you Carson!"

To add to the struggle (and expenses) the next day Candice and Joel had to take their other daughter who is suffering from RSV to the hospital.

Both parents, Candice and Joel have to work full time. Joel is also trying to finish graduate school. Their family needs support and time to heal. The purpose of this fund is to help this young family cover expenses, and take time away from work as they try to pick up the pieces of their life.
