Jax's Journey

Donation protected
Jax is one of triplets that were born 12 weeks early, unfortunately during his stay in neonatal Jax developed a bowel infection. He then became so ill he needed to have 90% of his large intestine removed. During this time he did not receive enough oxygen to his brain resulting in brain damage. Then at 1 years old Jax was diagnosed with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. To enable him to walk he needs an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) This operation is performed in America and we need to raise £85.000 to get him there, to cover the cost of the operation and the intensive physiotherapy required for two years post op. This operation will not only just help him learn to walk but it will also help take away the pain caused by spasticity in his muscles. It will help Jax become more independent. Jax is a very bright, loving & cheeky boy who would love to join in with his brothers. He is very limited at the moment and gets frustrated that he cant do what others can. We would love nothing more than to raise the money needed to help our boy have a better life and one day hopefully see him walk with his brothers. Thank you for reading, if you could donate anything at all we would be forever grateful. Thank you
