Jason's Dialysis & Transplant Fund

Donation protected

This page has been created in hopes that we can all help to ease the burden of the cost of his dialysis (their cost is $150 for every day of dialysis), and then his long term stay that will be required after he finally does receive a new kidney.  Maribel says, " We have to meet a 6k co insurance, plus hotel and expenses. Asking for help is very hard for us. We want to do everything on or own. But with just my income and the disability it is not feasible."

He will need to be in a 30 mile radius of the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for 30 days post-op.  Jason and Maribel would like to express their gratitude to everyone for their support and any donations provided.

Only two weeks after marrying the love of his life in April 2014, Jason learned that he was once again in kidney failure. These newlyweds have been forced to put their dreams of having a child together on hold, and instead Jason has been enduring tests and appointments, and now dialysis 3 days a week, with his sweet wife Maribel at his side. I will be writing a more detailed version of Jason's story on the blog: helpjasoncostellfindakidney.blogspot.com

Please help us to spread the word! If you or someone you know is O-type blood and would like to be tested to see if you're a match to be a living kidney donor for Jason, please contact the Living Kidney Donor Team at the Mayo Clinic transplant center to complete a preliminary health screening: 1-480-342-1010. You can also email them at [email redacted]
