I'm going to Uganda

Watch the video first. I spent several hours writing/recording thoughts, but it really comes down to this: I can't do this trip on my own, just as I can't do life on my own.

I'm still finding new words to articulate this journey, especially as I stare down the road and wonder, "What's next?"

I was talking to Caleb a weekend or two ago, and told him I was  thinking about asking for some support for this trip, being that I could do it on my own, but (1) could use the support and (2) use the love.

"Great," he said, "how much are you asking for."

"I dunno... maybe 250...  300?"

"Dude... you gotta ask for at least a thousand... maybe 1500."

So I compromised at 977. 1000 would exceed my wildest expectations.

Alternatively, if you would like to get in on the school fees action, let me know and I'll put you in contact with Beautiful Response. Please consider committing $40/month for a year. Sometime during this year, I'll make you a pie. Or a cake. Or soup. Or lasagna. Or as much FroYo as your heart desires.

Lastly, all of these come with a hug. Heck, you get a hug even if you just pray for the trip, or ask me how it went, or laugh when I tell a joke.
