Jackson Bayers Memorial Park

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brian Bayers, and my 18 month old son, Jackson, was tragically killed on Friday February 13th 2015 in a backover accident.  I am the Elk Creek Magistrate in Spencer County, KY (suburb of Louisville, KY) and... I was behind the wheel of my truck that killed my son, my absolute pride and joy.  Our entire life revolved around our son and he is missed every minute of every day.  My son loved swings, loved the water, loved going to the park and loved music more than anything.  He was a special child that loved everyone... he touched so many people and we want to give back in his memory to the community that has been here to support us in this devastating time.  Our goal is to build a park in his honor... complete with a splash park, playground with swings, outdoor musical instruments, memorial trail and a garden area, specifically for grieving parents, grandparents, siblings and children of those who have also experienced the loss of someone close so that they may come and plant flowers in their loved ones honor.  We also want to start a foundation, in his name, to help parents who struggle with the high cost of daycare in our community so that they can enjoy more time with their beloved children they work so hard to provide for.  We know this is a tall task but with your help, we can get this accomplished and honor Jackson and also give back to our community.  As I said before, Jackson was our life... I ran for Magistrate to make Spencer County better for Jackson, I felt it was our duty to work hard to make our community a better place for not only him to grow up in, but also to make it better for all children in our community and set a foundation for the growth of our community that we call "Home".  Please help us realize this dream, let us give back to the community that has been so supportive in this devastating time for us, Jackson would want that.  Please, go to my Facebook pages, Brian Bayers - Elk Creek Magistrate or Jackson Bayers Memorial Fund, like them, share them, donate if you can, we will build this park... we will do this to honor his legacy of love and to give back.  Thank you all for the support!  We love you all!!!  If you would like additional information, please don't hesitate to send us a message on our Facebook Pages and again, Thank you all for the love and support!
May God Bless you all!!!
With all of our love,
Brian and Amanda Bayers
