Helping Me, Help Me

Donation protected
Every day men and women are being released from jails and prisons all over the United States.  Usually, they leave with only the clothes on their back and a few dollars that the prison gave them.  They are advised by prison officials, their parole and probation officers, and even their family to "get a job".  As well, they desire to work.  However, they do not have clothes to wear at an interview, clothes to change in on a daily basis, personal hygiene items, transportation to get to a job interview (or to the job), job leads, nor a job.

This fundraiser is to generate donations and funds to rent office space, equipment, and staff to assist such people;  to rent (or purchase) a building/warehouse to store and give donated and purchased items;   to begin a continual marketing campaign to bring awareness to this growing issue;  to purchase whatever is needed to "help others help themselves".

Simply put, it makes sense to help others help themselves.  By doing that we don't give them a 'crutch' or an 'excuse', and we assist them in incresing their chances of survival and success.  Further, we aid them in NOT returning to the lives they led that caused them to go to jail or prison in the first place.

We are begining this organization in Albany, GA, but the ultimate goal is to have this organization in every state and major (possibly even small) city/county in America.

Your donation of any amount will help and will be appreciated.
