Eva's Medical Bills

I am a single mother working as a 911 dispatcher for a private ambulance company.The year I turned 35 I got sick with a cold it lasted a few months and kept getting worse and I was in and out of the hospital and doctors appointments this went on for over a year and I had no improvement in my condition. I was told I had pneumonia, SARS, Bronchitis, corona virus, acid reflux, the flu, asthma, a virus, and heart burn.  After a week long stay in the hospital the doctors performed multiple tests and came to the conclusion that I had a rare autoimmune disease called Replapsing Polychronditis of the Airway. That means cartilage is growing around my airway and closing it. I started taking prednisone at 60 mg in March to keep my airway open. Doctor's attempted a bronchoscopy but my airway was too inflamed and collapsed during the procedure. I spent another week in ICU after that.  I was then put on chemotheropy drug called Cyclophosphamide and have been on that since May of 2014 along with 60mg of prednisone. During this time I have continued to work full time but have been getting bogged down with medical bills and not knowing where my future lies stress also overwhelms me. The chemo treatment is very straining and the prednisone is causing me to have multiple side effects. I am exhausted, overwhelmed, and stressed out. I am not sure where this journey will take me or what the docters have in store for me next but I am asking for some help so I can atleast have one of my many stressers relieved so the burden of money isn't weighing on my shoulders and I can concentrate on being a good mother and a good dispatcher for my community.
