ADRIAN JONES ~ 4EVER IN OUR HEARTS

Donation protected
My oldest granddaughter (Keiona Doctor)and I would like to thank the world for coming together to help us as a family keep Adrian's memory alive.  Adrian suffered a horrific death at the hands of his father Michael Jones and stepmother Heather Jones.   Adrian, age 7, was abused, tortured and starved to death. Adrian will soon be coming home, and we are in the process of planning his funeral.  We are hoping that the Division of Crime Victims Compensation will pick up the cost for Adrian's funeral, and at this point we are waiting for approval.  Some of the money raised will help pay for a memorial service for Adrian, and to help start a college fund for Adrian's two sisters who also lived in the home.  Please note that some of the money raised so far has been used in Adrian's honor to purchase 100 t-shirts and 250 silicone bracelets for the upcoming fundraiser - Kansas City Rides for Adrian, which will be held on July 15, 2017 in Kansas  City, KS.  We will be giving away 25 t-shirts at the Ride to the first 25 riders. The remaining t-shirts, plus bracelets and other items will be sold at the Ride .

Madison and Tiesa, who both lived in the home, suffered mental abuse, and we are sure they also suffered some physical abuse as well.  Both girls are slowly healing through therapy.  I know that what happened to  Madison and Tiesa will always be a part of who they are, but will never define them.

I miss you, Adrian, every minute of every day, and to you my little man I want you to know that you are my first thought in the morning and my last thought before I go to sleep, and every thought in between.  I pray for you, I dream of I do, every word I speak, and everything I see. Adrian, you were nothing but the most perfect form of love.  I so miss when you would wrap your little arms around me and say “I love you, Nana”.

You loved with every ounce of your sweet soul, so you will always be my motivation to fight through struggles, work hard, act without fear, smile through the pain, to dream bigger and make all my dreams come true.  I will make sure your memory lives on, and I hope more than anything that I always make you proud, just as you made me so proud to be your Nana.  I can't wait for the day that I can wrap you in my arms once again, so until then sleep with angels my little man.
