A New Car for Christmas
Our last and final car has been wrecked and ruined. On December 2nd, Jay was involved in a multi-car accident in which another pair of drivers were at fault. You may remember previously that Jay was involved in an extremely nasty wreck not six months earlier this year while delivering newspapers where an RV merged into him and sent him slamming into a guard rail and traffic sign. That accident ruined our work vehicle. This one claimed our personal car.
This car was already in need of repairs. Now they're going to be insanely costly if even possible.
We need a new car.
Jay delivers newspapers for a living. We both commute to our office jobs. We've decided to pretty much change gears this holiday season, put gifts on hold.... and hope we can just get a new car for Christmas. It's something we need just to keep existing. To keep our jobs and pay our bills.
If you can help us, we appreciate it more than you know. If you planned on getting us a gift this year? This is so important. We'll be scraping together as much as we can in order to purchase or lease something functional as fast as possible. This literally just happened.
