I have personally sacrificed many opportunities, knowing that eventually, my path would lead me to a better place than stardom ever could. Please be a part of this movement. It may start out slow, but sometimes slow and steady wins the race. As a lot of you know, I am scheduled to employ a huge handful of artists for the feature film based on my memoir starting late 2014. This project is national and all contributors are considered for a major, minor or behind the scenes role depending on skill and preference. However, it is not a requirement.
Please, if you can't make a donation of even a dollar, (I understand I'm there right now), then please share this with all your friends, enemies, rich investors that your grandparents knew. I don't care. Just get the word out! I will be keeping a log of progress starting September 1st. So you can always check in on the updates.
I want to show the US that there are only a select few cities and surrounding areas that have proven to be successful in building a tight knit artistic community. But, I believe it's possible to spread the billions of dollars being paid to a select 2 or 3 people that we see in every movie or hear on the radio non-stop. (What I consider today's dead air) It's not even fair to the artist who's career is getting killed by their overplayed status.
All these reruns and nonsensical network decision have got to come to an end if creativity is ever going to be truly creative. If you're anything like me, you're passionate, you work hard and you too deserve a paycheck. I ask all my NJ friends to please spread the word nationally. You'll always be my personal #1 choice for my movie, but this film does a lot of traveling, so let's make this first one, a huge one and prove that this can and should be a federal and state fund that receives annual contributions above and beyond the leftover pennies that are offered currently.
