Hurricane Irma and Jose Relief Fund

As a Caribbean National, I want to do my part in taking care of my fellow brethren. Much will be needed after Hurricane Irma and Jose pass through our beloved island nations. We always wonder what we can do when we are so far away wishing to be with those affected on the ground to lend a hand. It is our duty to care for humankind, and this is your opportunity.
No donation is too small, no heart too closed to giving to those in need.
The funds you contribute will be used solely to treat and care for those affected in the Caribbean by Hurricane Irma and Jose. Funds will be donated to various non-profit organizations.

Due to the various islands needing supplies and equipment to rebuild, I will be putting together a wishlist shortly.

How Funds Will Be Spent:
Government Agencies & Non-Profit Organizations: Offical Disaster Agencies in individual islands & Local Rotary Clubs
Shipments to individual countries through wishlist to be shipped via Island Bargains bought on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Costco.com.
I am also working to gain donations or reduced pricing from major retailers like Home Depot, Walmart and Publix.
Withdrawal Plan: Upon reaching $5000 milestone goals, funds will be withdrawn to either 1) donate to individual islands through their authenticated accounts and 2) prepare and pay for shipments to individual islands. Receipts will also be shown to reassure donors that their funds are used fully and responsible.
Update 3: Thanks to the diligence of GoFundMe, the Wishlist is being created. You are able to make individual donation for items or funds that will be sent to the affected islands.
