House Slam @ National Poetry Slam

A Short History of the House Slam: The House Slam  became a certified poetry venue in December 2014; which grants eligibility for poets to represent the venue at various national competitions. Once this happened, poets began fighting to the DEATH (in the most loving, high-fiving way possible) to be on this team.  On April 24th, , Ashley Davis, Marshall Gilson, Kwene, Oompa, and Sam Rush were selected to defend the national title as a the secondHouse Slam team at the National Poetry Slam (NPS) in Decatur, GA 




The House Slam represents the unheard voices of the Boston community. We represent community and love. Our hearts are full of revolution and dance breaks. We are activists and educators striving to make change with our words. Help us do this at NPS!!
