"Hope" Ovarian Cancer Short Film

My Story:  My name is Adam Lawrence and I am Co Founder of Beast of the East Productions based in NYC. As a filmmaker I always have strived to have a voice to touch, move and inspire people with material. A little over two months ago in November of 2016 I lost my mother to stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Of course this was a tremendously difficult time for my family and myself with not only the holidays very close to this time period but also my mother's birthday happens to fall around that time as well. During this period I used the time to create a script based on not only the true emotions that I was encountering but what exactly it was like to see a loved one going through the fight of their lives battling cancer. The purpose of this film is to bring awarness to this deadly disease as Ovarian cancer causes more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system. 

The money that I am hoping to raise will be used to fund the production of this film. Paying for crew, locations and post production costs.

Any additional funds left from production through the campaign I will be donating to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance!!!!

This project is close and dear to my heart and being able to voice this to the world means everything to me. I hope this film is able to make a difference in the Ovarian cancer community.
