Linde wants to learn walking again.
Linde had a serious stroke in march and had 4 very bad weeks in the stroke clinic and since her 64th Birthday 3 very though months in the rehabilitation clinic. Hope was nearly lost when they send her out into a elderly care home because she was making no progress.
Before the stroke her life was quite normal, she had a part time job, drove her car to go shopping, enjoyed her garden, played some computer games .. and then she suddenly lost everything. Right body side is dead. Cant talk. Cant drink. Cant eat, cant walk ..
She is terribly missing her two cute cats Felix&Funny and all she wishes for is to be able to walk again so he can go home and reunite with them. When we show her videos of them she cries because she missed them and is very homesick.
She is only 64 and by far the youngest person in the elderly home that she was sent to. But surprisingly in only one week there she learned to drink again and got her first coffee and her first soup after 4 months not beeing able to drink or eat anything.
She was crying heartmelting when she discovered that she was able to move her right leg, which was dead for 4 month.
.. but now hope is back that it might be able ..
.. so we want to try anything ..
.. therefore we need the best therapy and atm that seems to be robotics training. It is for example offered here: https://www.schlaganfall-intensivtherapie.com/
Sadly that is very expensive stuff.
A week will cost us approximatly 1500 Euro including the stay there.
They recommend a stay of at least 3-4 weeks, which would add up to 7500 - 9000 Euro.
