Home Runs for Heroes is a group of four Saginaw Valley State University Vitito Fellow students' chance to give back to the heroes in and around our community.
Our goal is to take 100 Veterans to the Great Lakes Loons opening day baseball game on Thursday, April 6th, FREE of charge. The Great Lakes Loons have been incredibly generous and helpful and are doing everything they can to make this event one to remember for our great Heroes. This will be a very special event for our guests. All donations will be used to offset ticket, food, and tshirt costs for the day of the game so we can ensure that no Veteran has to pay any money to be with us. We are very excited for this event and to give back to the incredible men and women who served our country. We greatly appreciate any and all donations and highly encourage non-veterans to purchase tickets to the game to join us as well.
