Save Dave's Kiln / Georgia History
Donation protected
A family tradition that started in 1892 and a piece of North Georgia could be lost. David Meaders, son of Reggie &Flossie Meaders, grandson of Cheever & Arie Meaders and great grandson of John Milton Meaders. David is the last of Reggie's line. David needs our help in order to remain on the property and carry on the family tradition. His home, shop and wood fired kiln is on the property. The kiln was his daddy's. In order to keep his family tradition alive , and save a piece of North Georgia history, David has to purchase the property. David has been featured with Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs, Born to Ride Georgia Edition, and Georgia Mountain Laurel. The Meaders work can be seen at the Smithsonian, and their name is known worldwide. Please donate and help keep the family tradition going. You can find David Meaders on Face book. Small or large, it all counts.
