Send the Hilltalkers to Nationals!

We are a small-town debate team with big-city dreams. The Los Alamos High School Hilltalkers have had an amazing debate season this year regularly winning tournaments on the local circuit and placing at the national level.


Most our our money comes from donations and fundraisers. These events are a critical part of any tournament.


Help the Los Alamos Hilltalkers make it to the National Tournament! We have nine incredibly gifted speakers who qualifed for highly coveted spots at Nationals in Dallas this June. Sudeep Dasari, our president and a qualifier in International Extemporaneous speaking, has cites the researching and social skills developed in this activity and the benefits it provides for school work and life as a reason for his success. These kids have worked hard all year to qualify and we want to support their hard work. The total cost of the National Tournament including airfare to Dallas, lodging, meals, and entry fees is roughly $10,000. The students are contributing roughly $5,000 and team is sending approximately $1000. We still have $3,500  to raise before reaching Dallas. Please help us take the last step toward a truly fulfilling experience. Any amount is deeply appreciated!
