HIKR is a social ridesharing platform. A facilitator and a matchmaker for long-distance carpooling with people in your network.  

The founder of HIKR came up with the idea after a series of long (and expensive) commutes from Toronto to Montreal. Shortly after arriving back home and spending hundreds of dollars on tickets, she learned that some of her friends had done the exact same trip, but from the comfort of their own car.

If only there was an app that gathered drivers and passengers within the same network and connected them to form carpools...

In today's day and age of instant communication, and in our rapidly-growing sharing culture, there's definitely room for a more efficient, cost-friendly, safe and social way to travel. Because let's face it, Facebook status posts aren't always effective...

This is where HIKR comes in; a social ridesharing platform that connects you with travellers in your network. HIKR will help it's users save money on transportation by pairing them with other users who are taking the same route.

The price to develop an app is directly proportional to how many features are built in, as well as the talent & experience of the developer.
