Medical Supplies - Nepal Earthquake

This short video introduced the start of the 'High Peak First Aid Triage in Disaster Zones' course held in September 2014, Nepal.  The aim of the video is to encourage organizations to cascade training down to everyone as nobody knows who will be alive to provide aid after a disaster. 

This campaign will be raising funds to provide medical supplies for earthquake victims in Nepal.  Supplies will be dispatched from High Peak First Aid Training's office in the UK and distributed by organisations we work with in Nepal to ensure the supplies arrive at their end destination. 

High Peak First Aid has received requests for medical supplies as they are diminishing as time passes.  The death toll will rise as the days and weeks pass due to infection. People discharged from hospital will need to keep dressings clean and changed on a regular basis to prevent infection.  Hospitals need sterile and specialist equipment.
