Help Chica See Again

Chica is our Bisenji mix rescue dog that we have had for ten years. She has had diabetes for about four years and is now blind due to cataracts. She still has a couple of good years left and still tries to be frisky, but with her sight gone, life has become much smaller for her. 
She has recently gotten very hesitant to go out to do her business and it's heartbreaking to see her get lost in the yard she's traversed for so many years.
Stairs are tough for her, and she's gotten timid, not wanting to go for walks or be away from her mum.
I would love for her to be able to see for her last years here. Unfortunately, I just can't afford the surgery. It is already quite expensive to pay for her special food and medications and both of us are on disability now so there is no extra money.
(Btw, some people have asked me about her eyes in the picture. She has two different colored eyes, one brown and one white with a blue tinge. 
That picture was taken before her cataracts.)
I'm hoping maybe some kind people could help Chica out. She's always been such a good girl, a real sweety.
I wouldn't ask for myself, but I'm willing to try doing this if it could help her see again.
