My name is Taylor Porter,
I have a kitty that's a little less than a year old. Here's our story.
I was going through one of the hardest times in my life, the ending and beginning of my mom and aunts cancers'. My mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer in 2013 and finished treatment this year. I moved about a month before I found out she had cancer. They were/are both very sick, but my mom fought through it and my aunt still is. I live in an apartment by myself in Arizona where I go to school. I had been kitty hunting at shelters for months, which definantly turned into a year - for the perfect piece to my life. I found Zeplyn at a rescue shelter in Chandler. She has become my everything. From nights at home alone to a very bad break up she's been the friends I never had. It may sound cheesy but animals really do make the best of friends. She's sweet and can always make me laugh by doing the weirdest things.
She is an indoors cat and ran outside one night and ran up a neighbors balcony and fell. She dislocated her knee cap and the only way to fix it is through surgery. I am praying for help to get her out of the discomfort of not being able to jump on the bed or couch anymore and any donation would help to keep my little kitty in my life.
