Help Tokyo!!! Veterinary Care Fund

Donation protected

Many of us know and love Jaci Combs and her beloved dog, Tokyo.

Tokyo was suddenky taken very ill and it is a puzzle as to what exactly happened to her.

She has pretty bad systemic disease and electrolyte imbalance, which resulted in secondary pneumonia.
The pneumonia is likely aspiration pneumonia from a possible hypernateimic hypoglycemic seizure. Right now she's suspected with immune mediated thrombocytopenia.

She has been hit pretty hard by this and my heart is just breaking for Jaci - her dog is her world! I really can't help much, being so many states away, other than a remote cyber cheering squad, but then I had an idea, maybe I COULD do a little something, and in fact, we ALL could!

Maybe we can help that NOT be a burden on Jaci's shoulders, and so I wanted to start a go fund me campaign to show Jaci and Tokyo support and to perhaps help ease the burden on Jaci's shoulders, so that she is free to just think about her baby girl Tokyo.

If I could pay it all, I would, but alas, I am poor. But I can scrape up at least 20 bucks, and maybe if everyone that knows them threw in a dollar or two into the pot, we could all help together make ONE part of this ordeal a little easier for them all to shoulder.

So please consider joining me in helping Tokyo and raising up some funds for her care - or at least please share the link!

For those of you that would prefer to donate directly to the vets taking care of Tokyo, we now have information for you to do exactly that!

As of February 2, 2015 - the bill stands at $4900, and counting. Tokyo will likely need to stay a couple more days to make sure she is stabilized - so we can expect that bill to increase.

That is a HUGE bill for anyone to manage - but it is that time in the hospital that allowed Tokyo the time and support  that she needed to fight and rally to recovery.

PLEASE donate if you can!!!
