We are the Lindhardt's, family of nine.
A family with a Mother (Lori) and Father (Peter) and seven kids (Amber, Ryan, Zack, Olivia, Reiss, Mason and Adam.) Five boys, two girls.
On June 19th, 2015 six members of our family (Peter, Lori, Ryan, Reiss, Mason and Adam) were in a terrible car accident up Logan Canyon. Amber and Olivia were 10 minutes behind, in a seperate vehicle and weren't hurt. Zack is serving a mission for the LDS church and will be home on August 12th. (We're pretty excited and can't wait for him to be home.)
Everyone in our family surived the accident but all recieved different injuries. Adam recieved a deep gash on his head that went to his skull from hitting the dashboard as well as a split chin, both needed stitches. Mason received fluid in his stomach from the seatbelt presure, as well as bad seatbelt burns accross his stomach and neck. Reiss fractured his spine in four diffenernt area's. He was in the hopsital for a week after the accident and was fitted for a brace that he will wear for the next few months. Ryan sprained his thumb and had lots of glass in his feet and on his back. (We were on our way home from Bear Lake so he only had his swim shorts on.) Lori fractured her sternum and had terrible bruises across her chest and legs. She too received a bad seatbelt burn on her neck. Peter is still in the U of U hospital. He shatterned the bones in his right leg (including his knee cap, heel and foot.) He fractured bones in his left leg and also shredded a nerve. He too had bruises all over his body and has gone through 8 painful surgies so far. He is not allowed to put any presure on either foot for 3 months. We are so grateful that everyone is alive and healing.
