Amanda Hoffman a member of the Texas A&M waterski team was in a car accident this past week and is currently in a coma with brain damage. This account was started to help pay for medical bills and help her family out. You can get updates on her condition at this facebook page as well:

We thought that you might like to learn a little about the young woman who is touching all our lives. This short bio was written by a dear friend and waterski teammate of Amanda. We think he did a beautiful job of describing Amanda. Amanda Hoffman is a 23 year old spring 2013 graduate of Texas A&M University. She is enrolled to begin her first year at the University of Houston Law School in the fall. Amanda is best known for her vibrant, energetic and highly contagious personality. If you know Amanda you are a better person because of it. She will inspire you. Her laugh is one of a kind and puts a smile on your face as soon as you hear it...you just can't help but laugh with her.
Among several other attributes, Amanda has a serious knack for fashion, writing, and all things wedding. She spent an entire summer writing for Southern Bride magazine in Nashville, TN. But don't let her girly side fool you as she is just as talented when it comes to extreme sports. Amanda is a fierce competitor on the Texas A&M Waterski team where she has served as club Captain for nearly 4 years. She loves traveling and especially favors South Africa where she spent an entire semester in school while volunteering her time teaching children at the Kayamandi township. Amanda realized her goal of becoming a lawyer during her time with the local children. She saw this as the best way for her to benefit others in need. It is probably one of the easiest decisions she has ever had to make as it completely suits her stong willed, highly motivated, no compromise disposition.
Amanda's an all around gifted person who is loved and cherished by everyone's life that she touches. When you look up the phrase "live every moment to it's fullest" you will see Amanda Hoffman's name.
