I make lotion, body spray/air freshener, and smub air fresheners.
It helps to distract me from the severe pain that I deal with 24/7 because of Fibromyalgia and impairments/extreme pain from brain surgery and a rare bilateral stroke (multiple strokes at once).
I'm not able to turn it into a business, because of my health, soooo, To cheer myself up, I give away about 80% of the items that I make in the form of Free sample Smubs and other Prize packs to make others happy.
I have a van that I call The Scent Mobile and I go set up at different places for a couple of hours and have a Customer Appreciation Day (CAD) for that business.
Where I give away Sample size smubs to all of the customers that want one, during that time.
I also have a container of full size smubs and buggygobyebye scented lotion for sale, with me at all times.
The business can also make money while I'm there, by selling the smubs inside, while I give away sample smubs outside. Then pay me $1 for each one sold. They can charge what they want for them.

I started a FaceBook group called SuperLotion - Scent me up game room.
We have all kinds of games and members win small prize packs that get mailed when I get money for postage either through sales or donations,
I'd love to get enough money for Postage to mail every single one of the prize packs that are in the prize card box and more, for Christmas. A lot of the people who receive my homemade goodies can't afford them or the postage and they say it made their day to open their mail box to a prize pack that even makes their mailbox smell good... :) I love it when someone tells me that just my little bitty gift put a smile on their face when they were having a bad day.
The small amount of Sales that I get, along with donations from Big Hearts, enable me to get the supplies to make them and keep busy, and the postage it costs to mail out the prize packs. We can't afford to use any of the household money. I love being able to give away as much as I can, it's my way of paying back for the blessings that God has given me.
I had to really think about whether or not to do this (ask for donations like this). But I need supplies and need money for postage so that I can mail out some prize packs, so that I can make more. I can't make more until some of what I have already made is gone. We don't have the room for all of it, lol.
Just to mail out 1 Free Smub, it costs about $1, for postage and packaging materials. Tracking is an extra $4 and would have a bonus gift included. Larger prize packs from my giveaways on Super Lotion's Facebook page, cost between $5 - $15 each to mail.
That doesn't include the cost of supplies to make the products.
Please help me be able to keep making people smile when they get a prize in the mail, and at the same time, help keep me busy instead of just sitting and concentrating on all of the pain.
