Josie Sanctis lives in Charlotte with her husband, Andrew, and their two dogs. She is a Regional Sales Executive with Align Networks, a national outpatient therapy network. An avid athlete, Josie recently won a USTA championship title in both singles and mixed doubles with her husband, Andrew. She and Andrew enjoy playing in community sports leagues together. Josie enjoys playing golf and running 5K races.
As a wife and a business professional who is active on many fronts, Josie proudly represents the trichotillomania community as the Trichotillomania Learning Center's (TLC) National Awareness Ambassador.

She founded and leads a local support group in the Carolinas for those suffering from trichotillomania and dermatillomania. Josie is on a mission to erase the stigma around trichotillomania and alleviate the shame and embarrassment associated with this disorder. Trichotillomania affects 1 in 50 people. Currently, there is no viable treatment or cure. Josie's goal is to spread awareness and raise money for research, in hopes that one day a cure can be found.
