Help Jeirca replace her stolen PC

Greetings everyone
My name is Jeirca M. Medina-Pagan. I’m a student at the JD/M.Arch. (Juris Doctor/Masters in Architecture) joint degree program at the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras.
This past month I was at a greet and meet with the school’s Law Review when my car got broken into and got my backpack stolen. Inside of the backpack was my school books, my wallet, and my laptop computer, which had been purchased less than a year before.
The laptop was purchased with the thought that it would last through school and into the first few years in the profession. It was used to complete my design work in programs such as AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch UP and other 3D rendering applications, as well as to fulfill my editorial tasks.
The laptop was an ASUS N56VJ with the following specs:
Intel Core i7-3630QM 2.4 GHz Processor
8 GB DDR3 SD RAM Expandable to 16 GB
1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch 1080P Full-HD LED Screen,
NVidia GeForce GT 635M 2GB DDR3 VRAM Graphics
Windows 8 / Backlit keyboard
My laptop was my life and I currently can’t afford to buy a new one. The computer lab with machines that run those programs is open Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, making it impossible to complete meaningful work when you are a full time student taking 18 credits a semester. Most of my work was done during the night and early morning and I can’t do anything during those periods right now. I live solely off student loans and all of my living expenses are budgeted so I do not have the means to purchase a computer at this time.
The goal reflects the amount paid for the computer last year.
I am looking for a laptop with similar specifications; I do not care about a particular brand as long as it is enough to run the design programs. I am actively looking for similar laptops to find a suitable replacement at the cheapest possible price and will further update if I find a machine for less than the goal amount.
I decided to try this after seeing the hundreds, if not thousands, of success stories of GoFundMe campaigns and you can be assured that I will pay it forward.
