Human Trafficking in the United States

Mission

The Isis Group Project serves individuals from all walks of life who are transcending life's challenges to create a brighter future.
Combining multiple healing modalities and therapies, the Isis Group Project promotes recovery from trauma and supports wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.

Current Project
Rancho de Cielo

Rancho de Cielo is a recovery ranch located on 20 acres of pristine land in Northern New Mexico and is dedicated to promoting wellness and recovery in the lives of survivors of human trafficking. There are currently no residential options for minor trafficking victims, leaving the New Mexico Children Youth and Families Department (CYFD) with minimal options of placing them in foster care or referring them to long waiting lists for one of only two programs that exist in the United States, both historically proven woefully insufficient. Our goal is to develop a residential program for children and teen survivors that not only
meets but exceeds their needs. This recovery ranch would be based on a holistic recovery approach with a highly structured schedule that includes yoga and meditation, healthy
nutritious diet, sustainable lifestyle, equine assisted therapeutic riding, nature therapy, lifeskills training, alternative education, and alternative healing therapies, in conjunction with the clinical services that would be provided by an already in-place agency in
Santa Fe.

Isis Group Project promotes recovery from trauma and supports wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. Our philosophy is firmly rooted in the Women's Teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan and integrates multiple modalities with yoga and meditation, such as healthy and nutritious diet, alternative healing therapies, dance, martial arts, indigenous and other alternative medicine, equine assisted therapy, sustainable living technology,
daily spiritual practice, art, music and storytelling.

The Isis Group Project prioritizes working with women in need of healing from traumatic and severe abuse, such as human trafficking, incest, and rape (to name a few). Our healing therapies are open to all women. We know that when given the right tools, every woman has the ability to transcend even the most traumatic life challenges and emerge victorious and empowered to live to her potential. Our view of healing arises from a holistic approach, recognizing that true healing takes place when all aspects of the individual are addressed and integrated into a whole person. One of the ways we do this is by incorporating an environment of group conscious awareness
among women seeking healing, along with the utilization of multiple healing modalities.

The Isis Group Project recognizes all spiritual paths and is fully committed to providing healing in a sacred-wisdom rich environment. The Isis Project is not affiliated with a particular religious denomination or political agenda.

The Isis Group Project was founded in 2013 by Pavandeep Kaur Khalsa, author of My Body, My Soul, licensed counselor, advocate, healer, and KRI internationally certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher. After freeing herself from her own experience of human trafficking and other traumatic trials, Pavandeep Kaur took it upon herself to learn how to address the components of the mind, body, spirit as an integrative whole and incorporate those
practices into her daily life. It is her life's passion to help women from around the globe to heal and regain their own feminine strength and grace, known since ancient times as the goddess Isis.

Rancho de Cielo

During the experience of human trafficking, victims are robbed of
all beauty and humanity in life. They lose trust in themselves and their purpose. It is our vision to assist  The goal of Rancho de Cielo is to immerse a victim in absolute beauty and humanity, allowing them to reconnect with themselves and trust in their own life spirit, supporting them to transcend their barriers and emerge from victims to victors.
