This is Charlene Schultz, she is a mother of a 9 year old girl, a great Respiratory Therapist, a ZIN member (ZUMBA® Instructor) ... and a life lover... Charlene, or Chuck as we all call her, is a very happy American-Filipino girl, who even in the worse time will light a room with her smile.
Charlene found she had breast cancer in July 2013, and faced a double masectomy, she moved back home (South Georgia) while being in Chemo treatment. Having her family helping her out when she needed it the most she beated Cancer and in 2015 she finally went back to Louisiana after getting divorced and started back the life she left when getting sick.
At the end of July 2016, Doctors found she still has cancer cells in her breast, this was confirmed after a biopsy, she is scheduled to have a surgery on Aug 11 to remove more tissue and skin, so far they are not sure if cancer is somewhere else in her body.
Not to mention her insurance deductible got very high due her cancer history after not wanting to pay for her treatment, now she will have to face a more agressive treatment that includes not only Chemoterapy but also radiation since this is a local reocurrance. Treatments are tentative to start on September since she will need to heal from surgery before they can attack this cancer.
I would like to ask everyone for you to keep her in your prayers, and if you can help us to raise some money so she can get through this, it will be much appreciatted.
