Help a Kidney Donor Save Rob

Hi everyone, my name is Rob, and I am in desperate need of a kidney transplant. I want to feel good again, I want to be able to spend time with my kids, my family, and friends. I want to enjoy life and have the energy to do all the things I used to do before I got sick....simply put.....I WANT TO LIVE!...My kidneys are functioning at about 6%, I am currently on the kidney transplant list, and I am thankful that I have friends and family willing to be tested to donate a kidney for me, but I do realize that most people, like my own family, live check to check. Donating a kidney calls for some time off from work that will surely cause financial difficulties. In our case, my wife is the only one working presently, and we have 3 kids still living at home. She will be taking time off to care for me while I recover, so we will also feel the loss of income, that's what this fund is for. Any money raised will be split between the donors family, (yet to be determined), and our family to help cover lost wages and /or possible travel expenses if the donor is coming from another state. Donating a kidney is a wonderful gift, but shouldn't be a financial burden after the fact, especially for the donor. Anything you can give would be a gift, and would be greatly appreciated, you would be helping us keep food on the table and the lights on, and helping a donor who's doing a wonderful thing, saving a life...my life.
