Lets Help The Needy and Homeless In Ms

I now live in Jackson, Mississippi, a city and state where much isn't being done to help homeless people and needy families. People walk pass homeless and needy people as if they doesn't exist or carry some kind of disease. A lot of the people in this city only seems to be concerned with them selves and the only way they will help others is if there is a personal gain for themselves as well . Well I for one wasn't raised like that and I spent my whole life helping others the best way I could. I also haven't forgotten about the homeless and needy . In fact I know how they feel because I was one of them at one point and time in my life but it took someone with a caring heart to help me back on my feet and I would love to return the favor by helping many others but its hard for me to do especially when I don't have the finances it require to do so.

Although the odds are stacked against me, I believe in God's words and I think everyone should help out their neighbors no matter the age, skin color, or sex. Its getting colder everyday plus the holidays are coming up and some people can't afford jackets, sweaters, blankets and food for themselves nor their kids, and other family members. But if we pull together we can make the impossible for possible for the homeless and needy families We would like to do this across the entire state. All I'm only asking that people look into their hearts and donate just $5.00 ( 20 Quarters ) to help out a homeless or needy family. Giving a little can leave a major impact on you.
