Help Team Loud Mouth this Summer!

The Loud Mouth is thrilled to put together it's first official Slam team since 2015! We have spent many months and competitions narrowing down 30+ Central Valley Poets to determine our Top 5 Spoken Word Artists! Our 2019 Loud Mouth Slam team is:

Brooke Mateus

Jaie-Noelle Pearl

Erin Olds

Haley Ruth Spencer

And our Grand Slam Champ, JP Rapozo!

These 5 Individuals have proven they are the best to represent the Valley on a Regional and National level! Our team will be spending the next couple months writing, editing, and polishing their performances so that they can be the best representatives for us possible! 

So far they will be competing in two major regional slams in Portland, OR and Albuquerque, NM as well as multiple head-to-head competitions across California! 

This is where we turn to you for help! 

The Loud Mouth will be able to cover registration costs for these competitions. We will also look into any grant opportunities to support our individual members. All of our poets are hardworking, dedicated individuals who are heavily involved in multiple projects within their communities, but could still greatly benefit from any additional support. Our goal with this GoFundMe is not to completely  cover expenses, but to offset as much of the costs as we can. The money we raise will go primarily towards travel expenses such as gas, bus/train tickets, public transportation, hotels, and incidentals. Any extra we are able to raise will go towards merchandise production and food!

We will keep the Fundraiser open until the end of May as most of the competitions will be taking place in the summer.
