Meet Christian - one of life's good guys. A hardworking business owner and father to two little children.
Three years ago Christian took the scary move from employee to entrepreneur after the company he was employed by went into receivership.
He took the initiative to set up his own electrical business (C.R.C Electrical and Building Services) offering his younger cousin Liam a job and chance to complete his apprenticeship in the process.
As any business owner will know, the first few years are the toughest but Christian was finally feeling like he was achieving something - earning himself a reputation for being reliable and hardworking and winning a couple of big contracts along the way. Life was looking good.
However, on 29th March 2019 whilst working in Billericay, Essex, his year-old van was stolen from outside the customer's house he was working at. He was literally a few meters from the van at the time, going back and forth getting set up for the day. Unfortunately, a huge amount of tools and equipment were still inside the van at the time it was taken, along with £300 cash.
Due to a clause in the insurance policy, it's looking unlikely that he will be covered for this shit-uation and if that's the case Christian's business will not recover from this.

I'm totally gutted.....
So I've worked my arse off since I left school at 16 and I can count on one hand how many sick days I've had, I get out of bed everyday so my kids can have a good life and not go without,
So today whilst working away in Billericay, Essex my van was stolen, my main tool, my work horse and more importantly the way I earn money to feed my family.
I set up my electrical business about 3 years ago and anyone who's in business knows it's hard, it's really hard and when this shit happens it's soul destroying,
I can't describe how angry I am, some low life scum bag has taken away my form of income. So to my fellow tradesman keep your van and tools safe because this world is a shitty shitty place!!
Please help me keep Christian and his family afloat whilst this mess is sorted out - just a couple of pounds from a few kind people will help him replace tools, pay essential bills, keep his cousin Liam in a job, and get the business up and running again.
Let's not allow the acts of one scumbag derail all the blood, sweat and tears that has gone into this business.
