Pier Family

Before it slips too far away and we begin to forget each other I would like to set up something for the employees of the City Pier for this time of year.  We are a family.       Our customers and friends from around the country and around the world are collectively and happly a welcomed part of our lives.       I, and all of us at the pier very much miss our place that was so unique and loved by so many.         These people are single moms, family men, and hard working guys that are quite misplaced.  If you have fond memories of the folks that smiled at you and worked at the pier I ask you to try and remember our times together and their faces.  They remember you and are optimisticly hopeful that this process for the pier restoration will move forward as expeditiously as possible.        I will start this off with a one hundred dollar donation from myself and see where it goes.  I will give this effort two weeks and thank you all very kindly for your generosity.
