Ryan&Ben's South African, CAPE EPIC

March 15-22nd, 2015, My good friend and LinearSport MTB/Trek teammate Ryan Rollins, and I, Ben Schreiber, will be traveling to South Africa to compete in the largest, most grueling, multi-day stage mountain bike race in the world. The Absa Cape Epic.
The race consists of 600, two person teams racing together for 8 days. A 'short' prologue on the first day, followed by seven stages of mountains and adventure, averaging 6-7hrs of saddle time each day.
This years race, advertised as having the most climbing in the event's ten year history, will contain nearly 52,000ft of climbing and roughly 460 miles over the eight days of racing.
Having said that... This will without a doubt, be the absolute, most difficult endeavour, either us has, or probably ever will, undertake.
Understandably, there are costs involved with getting us entered and out there. As two blue-collar bike racers, with regular 9-5's, we're going out on a bit of a limb jumping into such a huge, logistically complicated race. That's where you wonderful supporters come in. We need your help! We need your support!
We want to proudly represent, not only the WORS (Wisconsin Off-Road Series) community, but our entire state of Wisconsin, the whole Mid-West, and all of the United States!
