My wife Harmony is the voice behind Modern Mommy Madness and mother of our three children. She quit her job in insurance when our second child was born, but I think she works a lot harder now as a stay-at-home mom.
Over the past year, I have watched Harmony pursue her dreams of becoming a writer. She has been published on websites such as Scary Mommy, Mamalode, and Mamapedia, as well as in two anthologies -- "Scary Mommy's Guide To Surviving the Holidays," and the upcoming "I STILL Just Want To Pee Alone."
In order to further her promising writing career, Harmony needs to attend the Blog U Conference in Baltimore, MD June 5 - 7. The cost for attending the conference is $299. The flight expense is estimated to be between $400-$500.
Taking a trip like this is definitely out of our budget and any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I really want to send Harmony to this conference -- not only because I know it will help her reach her writing goals, but because I know she could use a break from mothering.
