Permanent homes for homeless vets

Helping Horses, Helping Heroes is a national non-profit organization headquartered in the state of Colorado dedicated to permanently ending Veteran homelessness by providing permanent homes, basic necessities, healthy meals, job-training, employment, and medical care in order to assist these Veterans in transitioning back into society.  All funds raised will go to establishing our facility including, but not limited to:  purchase of site, buildings, lodging, housing, barns and day-to-day operations.  We're also dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of horses from both deplorable conditions and local "kill lots".  Once the horses are rehabilitated and in good health, they will provide equine therapy for ALL US Veterans: active duty, reservists, national guardsman, retirees, AND their families in order to assist them in coping with the unique challenges of military and post-military life.
