For Diane and Tara

Donation protected
Please help my dear friends, as they have been in a BAD car accident and Diane is in ICU and Tara is in back surgery, Sylvia got a broken wrist and broken bone in her chest. I'm trying to do anything I can to help them out. When they get out of the hospital all of Diane's belongings were in the car, and are all destroyed. :(Diane was moving back to vancouver BC to be with her daughters and to be closer to her 3 grandsons .

I think we have all experienced times in our lives when we think things can’t get any worse, and then they do. They get much worse. The only thing can help in times like that are friends and family who care and who make a point of reaching out. That’s why when I heard what had just happened to my friend Diane, my heart was broken, and the first thing I thought was I need to do something to help. Someone who has gone through so much pain needs to know people care and will support her till she heals.

In early November, Diane went through a horrible break-up that was due to a betrayal of trustUnderstandably hurt and betrayed, Diane decided she would have to change her life in a big way. So she donated most of her belongings and packed her bare necessities. She called her daughters and they joined her in what was supposed to be a move to BC to start a fresh new life where she could be closer to her three grandsons. She was determined to find a safe space among family where she could heal and move on.

Diane packed all her possessions into her car and she and her daughters, Tara and Sylvia drove to BC. But while they were driving on the highway the car flipped several times not because of speed ,They each sustained serious injuries, and the last of Diane’s possessions and all her clothing were destroyed.

Tara went into surgery for her back and Sylvia suffered a broken wrist and broken bone in her chest. Diane suffered a fractured sternum, broken ribs, punctured lung, and fractured neck, and was put into an induced coma once she arrived at the hospital.

Diane has since woken up from her coma. I can’t imagine waking up in such pain, to learn that your daughters are hospitalized and everything you’ve ever owned is gone. However if Diane is known for something, it’s her fighting spirit and she has surprised the nurses with her will to get better. She has also miraculously managed to escape paralysis.

I am asking that as friends, family and even total strangers that you reach out and help Diane rebuild her life. Any donation will help.
