Meet Della! This sweet little girl was a therapy dog in a memory-care facility. She is 8 or 9 and is awesome with kids, cats and dogs! She has some patchy hair loss, which may be from the food she was eating or from getting too close of a shave -- but the hair loss does not bother her and she even doesn't notice it. She does great on a leash, and takes fine to a crate. Della is laid back and chill all the time -- nothing fazes her! She is very treat-oriented and goes outside to potty without issue. Once she gets to know you, she loves belly rubs, ear scratches, and more and more treats. She stays in her kennel without complaint and knows tricks like shake and sit. She’s a totally adorable little lady!
Della (along with a few other dogs at Grey Face Rescue) are in need of dental scaling to not only perfect their beautiful smiles but to ease their eating and overall health. These procedures can be costly but with the help of our community - I know we can get them the help they need and so much deserve!

Grey Face Rescue & Retirement is dedicated to giving animal’s stability and security when the norm becomes unfamiliar.
We provide high quality care & love to senior animals.
Grey Face Rescue & Retirement is a non-profit, foster-based rescue in the St. Cloud, Minnesota area. We strive to create a comfortable, loving and safe home for senior dogs when their owners are unable to attend to their needs or keep them in the household.
With your donation, we will have the funds to continually pay for veterinary care that these senior dogs require, continued medication along with special dietary food. We will have the opportunity to purchase orthopedic dog beds that will ease the pain and struggle as muscles and bones weaken by age or arthritis. Your donation will help pay for every day needs such as food, vitamins, treats, collars, leashes while our senior pals are in foster homes.
We appreciate the continued support that our community has offered during the launch of Grey Face Rescue & Retirement. We are a non-profit organization and your donation will not only save a life but continue to make our senior K9 friends happy, healthy and loved during their final years here with us.
