Green geek

Hello my name is Aneta, I live in the UK, however, I originate from Slovakia and in my 16 years of strolling on this earth I have always known what I wanted to do with my life, not in a career way or how many kids I want, but in the idea that I want to make a massive positive impact on the increasingly blinding world.  In September of 2019, I am starting an animal management course to hopefully help me become an Environmental officer.  We as a human race are racing the global challenges we are helping create. Everything starts small, so I want to start a small project that will help promote zero waste lifestyle,  plant trees, clean seas and open the public eye to the simplicity of small changes to a sustainable future. I really want to stretch every dollar, pound, dime anyone is kindly willing to donate. I am going to use the money to buy and create small sustainable items to sell at local markets, festivals. I'm going to make shampoo/soap bars, eco-friendly toothpaste, planting starting kits, bamboo toothbrushes, small treats for dogs (sold in biodegradable bags) and cupcakes. Because who doesn't love cupcakes! I will also be getting in touch with local sustainable business such as local beekeepers, to promote them to get involved and sell on their amazing products.  With the money raised from you lovely people and the stalls, I am going to organise buses from cities centres for volunteers to go to a popular beach area and help clean littered areas.  I will also use the money to help get volunteers out and plant trees. During all of this, I will use my photography and filmography skills to create a promotional video and post it on social sites.  With a growing family of green geeks, I hope to raise enough money to send a small expedition to the trembling edges of the dying rainforest, to visit the last of ice, to clean the dying ocean. This may seem like a big dream but big dreams make big differences.
