Green Beetle Mike Nelson

My name is Jay and I am a member of "The Green Beetle" family in Memphis, TN. We are a tight knit family and look out for one another as much as possible. However, on March 21st something happened to a member of our family which has prompted an outreach for your help.....

While leaving work that evening around 10pm in Downtown Memphis our star cook; Mike Nelson was shot in the back during an attempted carjacking. Mikey is currently recovering at Regional One Hospital in Memphis. The severity of his condition: paralysis from the knees down. We also know that he will not be able to work for an indefinite period of time - making it difficult to pay his rent, utilities, hospital bills, and to care for his dog "Steve".

Whatever you can do to help - and if you know Mikey - he has the best attitude, a constant willingness to help others, and would ABSOLUTELY do the same for you. He is truly a good person that was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
