Golden Retriever Rescue NM, a 501(3)(3) nonprofit, has been finding homes for Golden Retrievers in NM for more than 20 years. We have placed more than 850 dogs. We work on a very small budget and usually, our adoption donations cover our ongoing costs.
Sometimes we have special expenses. This month Mr. Brody (that is his picture) decided to steal some groceries and eat not only the goodies but the plastic bag they were packed in. This did not work so well and he has had to have surgery. We need your help to get our vet paid.
We had planned our annual fundraising drive for next month but decided to let you know now how much we depend on you to support our work. The stress of having to make medical decisions based on financial resources has been very difficult this last month. We have decided to see what we can do to build a contingency fund for our organization. All donations fully tax deductible.
