Help Nick Fund

Hello my name is James and I started this fund to reach out and hopefully find help for our Son Nick.  From the day he started elementry school he was labeled with ADHD and the school presured us to put him on medications to help him gain control.  Over the years he has progressed but kids in school would call him the "Bad Kid."  I was in line with my son as he was about to go into his first grade class when I heard a child say this to their mother.  It broke my heart.  Moving on in school Nick struggled with games like soccer and basketball because none of the kids wanted to take the time to teach him, instead they just yelled at him to leave. 

We had Nick moved to a different school where my wife had taught and we thought would be a great move for him.  Instead it backfired, after about 2 weeks in the students were telling my son they didn't like him because he was new and different.  Nick had an outburst and was sent to a lock down unit because the principal claimed he tried to stab himself.  Since then Nick has been tested and diagnosed for Autism however the school refuses to accept the diagnosis because they don't want to pay for the services they are legally obligated to provide.  This has been difficult on my wife and I.  My wife had to leave her job so that should could be available to attend to Nick's appointments, help with his schooling, and just be available.  In the process her health has suffered as well as our finances.  We had to turn over the car we were paying for so now it's more difficult for her to be at all of his appointments.  Now we have to hope that a family member or myself can be available to drive them to  the appointments if needed.  This has put a great stress on my employer and my position as well. 

Nick is a great child, He's our Superman, with a lot of love, and just wants to have friends and go to school and be treated well.  We are having a tough time with securing that in Public school and have found a few schools that can help him, but we just do not have the funds to pay for it, or to pay for the lawyer that we need to fight for his rights in the school.  We need your help, $1, $5, $10 helps, or even donating an unused car, it adds up and it helps us get closer to our goal of helping Nick suceed in life.  Please Help Nick.
