BC's poorest farm gives 420,000 lbs

My name is Jas Singh I'm a farmer dedicated to feed the hungry. I started this farm four years ago with $120.00....in 4 years we have given away over 420,000lbs, of vegetables to needy people and organizations.
Many years ago I changed my life and decided I didn't want to wait until I was 65 and try to do something meaningful that would represent the time I was on our beautiful planet. I live in a basement...own very little other than two old trucks....a donated van and some machinery. This farm...which went from one location of 3 acres has now grown to 5 farms and 70 acres and climbing. I have now hit the point where we need to upgrade our equipment and machinery as well as become fully self sustainable. I am good with money and can make a little stretch a long way. We need to buy our own tractors as we own none. I have borrowed until now and we are getting too big for that. With $50,000.00 I can buy two tractors...a seeder and a manure spreader. I can also fund this years charity project of 150,000 lbs. with the same money. We have turned the corner where it's "go big or go home" and for the first time I'm asking people to donate on go fund me. I have a four year track record of giving unconditionally and you may google me or the farm....and you will see pages of media articles....magazine or T.V. clips...best story of the year front page The Province 2013 outlining what we are doing and how we have grown. With this funding, I can tweak the on-site market I started on the farm last year and make this project self sustainable. I hope you all continue to trust me and I really need our 1100 volunteers to push this message out there so please help...it's a great cause and it's so simple.
