Katie's Center Playground

Thank you you for taking the time to read about our need. Katie's Educational Center is a new childcare located in Poultney, Vermont.

We started with very little but have been very fortunate to have had the great support of the community . Finding supplies at the town-wide tag sales has been extremely successful and donations from friends and family have been greatly appreciated as well.
Yet when it comes to our outdoor play area we really need your help. Children need to be outside to explore their environment. They need a large outdoor space to run, and jump, climb on and over things to enriches their mind and bodies. Swing sets, slides and climbing walls are great for all these needs and also work on building fine and large motor skills. We love being outside and research has proven that children focus better after spending time with nature. Nature also provides a rich source of hands-on, multi-sensory stimulation, which is critical for brain development in early childhood.

Right now Katie's Center is lacking in having a great structure to incorporate our play with nature.  We would like to build a safe playground that is appropriate, safe  and engaging for all ages . We plan on using only quality materials to ensure that it will last for generations to come. Every penny counts, please think about donating and helping us achieve our goal!
